Editorial Review:Product Description:Designed to help people master all 24 major and minor scales. In this book, first, all the violin scales are re-organized to be more simple, practical, and easy to learn. Then all the fingerings of the single-stop scales are classified into only a few basic patterns. When practicing, violinists can study these fingering patterns first and then use them to play all 24 scales easily. Finally, all the fingerings of the double-stop scales are also re-edited to make them as simple as possible. With this approach, the process of learning violin scales is much easier than before.

I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to keep there fingers in practice. For me, having sheet music in front of me helps to focus my exercises.

This is a wonderful resource for any violinist! Scales and arpeggios are logically presented as well as numerous bowings for the beginner as well as the more advanced player.

This is a good book but definitely not for a beginner. Especially if you can't read music. Would work well along with lessons.
It's a great book for more advanced pupils. Like other instruments, playing scales gives you more practice and skills to handle more difficult pieces.
I would order this product again.

Great book. You need to be beyond the beginner level, but the information is very usefull and there are lots of good exercises to do. If you want to be a violinist, I would highly recommend it. Still takes the time and effort to practice though.
