Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Piano Servicing, Tuning and Rebuilding
Since I'm creating a new hobby from scratch, I've given Arthur Reblitz the first 'gold standard'. For me his work de-transmogrifies the Rube Goldberg contraption within a piano into intelligible parts and pieces; where form indeed follows function. It's still very complicated, but with Piano Servicing, Tuning and Rebuilding, and perhaps a few sites on the internet, I feel confident that my first piano restoration will be a baby grand success.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Essential reading for piano technicians
I used this book to make a thorough reconditioning of my 1906 Chappell upright piano. Indispensible, comprehensive, clearly set out and explained. Highly recommended.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Manual
If you have any interest in doing work on a piano, get this book. It is very easy to understand and I found it very helpful. Well worth the investment.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Piano Servicing, Tuning, and Rebuilding, Second Edition: For the Professional, the Student, and the Hobbyist
This book is very helpful. I learned a lot about my piano. Some repairs I will be able to do myself with the help of this book. For the other repairs I will hire a professional. I highly recommend this book. Now I will know what my piano tech is talking about.
