I bought this for my son and it works great. He just bought an expensive EVH leather strap and this will keep the strap secure. It has a great design, but I recommend that you have a music store install it for you.

I have it in my two basses.. is really easy to use and I feel safe with this!... specially with my fender that is a little heavy!
