Special Features: Dimebag Darrell of Pantera needs no introduction-he is one of the most talented and popular metal axemen to ever walk this planet. Thanks to its eye-catching camouflage finish and unique "CFH" logo (modeled after the tattoo the guitarist sports on his shoulder), the brand new Dimebag Darrell Signature Crybaby® is as instantly recognizable as its creator. "Itâs basically what Iâd call a hot-rodded Wah," Dimebag explains. "Itâs pretty tricked out-itâs got an extended sweep so you can get it to go more high-endy sound-ing [pedal down] and deeper [pedal up] too; a 5-way selector on the side so you can pick what frequency youâre gonna play within; a kick-in boost; the LED indicators [Wah on/off, Boost on/off] at the back of the pedal instead of at the front so you can see them from the back of the stage; and itâs got skateboard skid-tape on it instead of rubber so when youâve got beer on your feet you wonât slip off it. One other little trick weâve got happening is an extra input jack on the left-hand-side of the pedal so you can go in and out of the CFH on just that side if you want. That way, if youâre just using the Wah you donât have to loop a chordaround the top of the thing so itâs less likely to get stuck-up under the pedal. Iâm real proud of the CFH, man," Dime concludes.

Editorial Review:

Product Description:
This might just be the most flexible, powerful wah pedal ever. Designed in conjunction with Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, the DB-01 Crybaby From Hell gives you everything you need to do serious wah damage. It's basically what I'd call a hot-rodded wah, Dimebag explains. It's pretty tricked outit's got an extended sweep so you can get it to go more high-endy sounding and deeper too. There's a 5-way selector on the side so you can pick what frequency you're gonna play within. You've got a kick-in boost and LED indicators [Wah on/off, Boost on/off] at the back of the pedalinstead of at the frontso you can see them from the back of the stage. And it's got skateboard skid-tape on it instead of rubber so when you've got beer on your feet you won't slip off it. One other little trick is an extra input jack on the left-hand side of the pedal so you can go in and out of the CFH on just that side if you want. That way, if you're just using the wah, you don't have to loop a chord around the top of the thing, so it's less likely to get stuck under the pedal. I'm real proud of the CFH, man, Dime concludes. It sounds bad-assed and it looks bad-assed too. It's ready for war! Power: Single 9 volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter - Controls: Adjustable "Q" control modulates frequency breadth of effect Adjustable Volume Boost knob from 0 to + 17dB -Volume Boost On/Off switch, mounted on side (red LED indicates on Fine Tune knob adjusts the toe down sweep range. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This thing's got all you need!
I must admit I never had any experience with wahs before. OK, I had one under my foot ONCE. It left me with the experience that I was gonna need a lot of time to make my foot do what my ears desired.

I bought a wah anyway 'cause it's just an awesome effect. And since I'm the guy who loves little knobs and versatility, I went for the dime...

Costed a little more than one though, but it's all worth it.

It's really easy to understand what all the knobs do, and ... Read More
