Maybe its my acidic and greasy fingers, but after 1 week, the B and E strings were completely brown and crusty. I keep my guitar in a nice hard case when its not in use. They sounded good, for the week that they functioned.

If you looking for rich bronze sound of your steel string, but on the tight budget this could be a great option for you. strings sound great even on cheap chinesse guitars, so make them bearable. Wouldn't recommend putting them on classic 12 fret guitars, cause they definitely have steel sound to them

Just a fair warning, if you purchase from Shoreline beware! My strings arrived contained in their Martin box and within a sealed envelope. When I opened the envelope and removed the box, it was already open.
The box was open and there were three of the six strings missing from the box.
I have ordered strings from Amazon before but never again. I strongly urge any musician out there who thinks it is worth saving ten cents to buy online to just go to a guitar or music shop. ...
