I've been playing guitar for 30 years and I love this pedal! They talk about the original tube screamer reproduction for more than twice the price, as the real deal. Here's the deal; If you are playing through a tube amp (not a hybrid),there is no difference. So save some bucks! I played both pedals through a fender twin and there wasn't much difference.
