The "Laurel" guitar ended up being a "Sojing" guitar, but otherwise as illustrated. Plays OK, but the intonation on the pesky G string is kinda off. The pickup (piezo?) is good. Conclusion? A $100 Sojing is not a $500 Yamaha. I am planning to rework the thing more to my liking, or destroy it in the process.

Not as good to play as a classical guitar, not as expensive as an electrified classical guitar, this guitar does a pretty good job of offering electric options to the impecunious classical guitar player.
However, if you're really wanting to amplify classical guitar music, I would go with a specialist pick-up.
