Rating: - E-MU Xmidi 1X1 USB MIDI interface works great for me.
I attached this handy device to my midi keyboard and plugged it into my computer's USB port, and without further ado I could input music. I could wish for an on/off switch of some sort, to save wear and tear on the USB port, but at this price I wouldn't expect such a feature.

Rating: - Works Great when you look for the lights on contact!
The 1st one of these I got would not work. The lights wouldn't even light up when attached (should have given me a clue). The company that makes it was almost useless with technical support. They sent generic e-mails that gave me the impression that they neither read or understood English, since I repeatedly indicated there were no lights on the unit when attached to the keyboard and computer, and the software would not install. Rating: - Works perfectly
Not too much to say here other than it works. I plugged it in, plugged my MIDI equipment in the other end, fired up my MIDI software for the device, and it was imediately recognized and worked perfectly. Couldn't ask for much more from an adapter such as this.

Rating: - Worked right off the bat with Vista and my V-amp 2
I bought this midi cable to hook up my V-amp 2 to my new pc with the Vista OS, and I didn't even have to install any drivers for it, it worked right off the bat. My pc recognized it immediately, no problem at all. I recommend it highly for V-amp users and whoever needs one with a computer that has Vista.
