To tune the Guitar, we recommend tightening the screws on the tuning knobs. These screws are located on the tuning knobs on the back of the Guitar. This set also has everything your child needs to get started with the Guitar, including extra strings and a pick. We got this for our 21-month-old boy, who LOVES music and was always trying to play his dad's guitars. It is the perfect size and looks just like his daddy's black accoustic. He absolutely loves it. The manufacturers were smart and put the tuning keys on the bottom of the neck, as not to draw too much attention (which helps maintain the life of the strings).
