Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Worth every penny
These strings are pretty amazing. I had gone many years without changing the strings on my guitar (they just held really well, and sounded great the whole time), but then a month or so ago I broke my G string (har har). I knew where I stood with electric guitar strings (which I break all the time), but I had never really had a reason to look into acoustic strings. I went to my friend, George, who is a local celebrity in the music scene, done a lot of recording, recorded two CD's which have sold very well for him, and who owns more and knows more about guitars than anyone I know, and he recommended these without missing a beat. I was annoyed by the price, but they have not disappointed in any respect. These strings are really easy on the fingers - very smooth and light. They are a little bright for my taste, but I think they'll warm up a bit as I break them in, and it might just be my guitar itself (which leans towards a lighter sound). I would recommend them to anyone who's not afraid to invest a little bit more in their strings. The cost has definitely been worth it, in my opinion.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Briefly stated: Excellent!
Recently decided to start playing again so, new strings were a must. For the most part, everyone's top quality steel strings are pretty much the same so I tried the Elixir Light Nanoweb and......Wow!, YES there is a difference, much more than I ever thought it would be. I must agree with all of the reviews and place a five star rating on these. Excellent!
You really may wish to try them. They are worth the money difference!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Nice string
This is my first time trying Elixir. Has heard some good review from a friend so gave it a try on my cheap old guitar. I can tell you its a HUGE difference either to the sound or the feel. I highly recommend this!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - not the cheapest, but definitely the best
Elixir's may not be the cheapest strings out there... But unless you're a professional musician and you're changing your strings constantly anyways, these really are the way to go. I've heard some people say that they don't sound as good as X, Y or Z string... which may be true, but they are CONSISTENT. They sound pretty darn good out of the box, and they still sound that good after weeks and weeks (even months). Whereas some other strings may sound great at first, but after a couple days, start sounding dull...

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - pretty good
The strings sound good and do not wear off onto the fretboard like some other strings. My only knock on them, is that they seem to be a little slick. My fingers slip off the strings sometimes when I am doing a difficult chord. I have not had that problem in the past.
