Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - great for acoustic guitars
the build quality is nice...

i expect it to last at least 5 years with normal use.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice heavy duty stand but lays back at an angle
I bought this stand primarily to store my solid body electric guitar in the corner of my bedroom. The stand is extremely well made and looks like it will accept a variety of guitar body styles. The front surface of the stand at the highest point has a substantial, dense foam pad to prevent scratching your instrument. The bars that hold the bottom of the guitar are also padded. The legs of the stand can fold in towards the centre, which reduces its profile for transport. The legs click into place when extended, making it very stable.

The only down-side to this stand is that the vertical part lays back at quite an angle. For a thick-bodied guitar like an acoustic, this wouldn't matter but for a thin electric, this means that the guitar leans back at an even greater angle. The stand must therefore be situated well away from a wall, to prevent the headstock of the guitar from touching the wall. I added some thin foam padding to the bottom of the uprights so that my guitar can perch right at the back of the stand, with the back of the body flat against the uprights.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - solid product
This product met all my expectations. It is solid and sturdy but not bulky. At the same time it is very elegant, and is almos completely covered by the guitar. It fits any classic guitar very well and there is no risk that the guitar falls off. Overall great product at a great price.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - works great
I love this guitar stand. Very simple to move around since it just folds open, and keeps the guitar perfect. great buy using my Amazon Prime trial

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Poor design, good quality
Stand came quickly and is high quality (sturdy joints). That said, the design pales in comparison to your classic upright stand with three legs. With this design, the guitar leans back anywhere from 30-45 degrees. It not only looks strange, but takes up more space.
